Kazakhstan Cultural Week Debuts in Albania with Music, Film, and Friendship

Kazakhstan Cultural Week takes place in Albania for the first time. The event starts on October 19 at 19:00 in “Italia” Square, Tirana. The opening concert features the Turan Ensemble and famous Kazakh singer Adam.
The night promises energy and emotion. Turan mixes the ancient sounds of the Central Asian steppes with modern rhythms. The ensemble, known worldwide as ambassadors of Turkic culture, has performed in more than 120 cities. They have appeared on stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington.
In Tirana, they will showcase the power of Kazakh traditional music with original instruments and strong performances. Meanwhile, Adam will thrill the crowd with his popular hits. His song “Zhurek” has reached over three billion views on YouTube and TikTok. Most importantly, the concert is free for everyone.
Then, on October 20 and 21, the celebration continues with the Kazakh Cinema Days at the “Agimi” Art Center. Viewers will watch three selected films from Kazakhfilm Studios. Each movie reflects Kazakhstan’s history, culture, and spirit through different genres.
The program includes Myn Bala: Warriors of the Steppe by Akan Satayev, an epic story of courage and freedom. Next comes Operation Nabat by Rashid Suleimenov, a tense modern thriller. Finally, Amre by Jeffrey Vespa tells the inspiring life of the legendary singer Amre Kashaubayev.
Supported by Albania’s Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sports, Kazakhstan Cultural Week builds new cultural bridges. With free entry and a rich program, it invites everyone to celebrate art, friendship, and the deep connection between the Albanian and Kazakh people.
