Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu shared images today of the festive atmosphere in Korça, where the “Serenights” festival has brought music and culture to the streets of the Old Bazaar.

“A weekend in the Korça of serenades,” Koçiu wrote on social media as she shared footage from the event.

The festival has transformed the Old Bazaar’s streets into an open-air stage for art and culture. Meanwhile, people of all ages and many tourists have joined the celebrations and enjoyed the sounds of guitars.

Koçiu described the atmosphere as a sign of the growth of cultural tourism in Albania. She said traditions and cultural heritage continue to play an important role in the tourist experience.

“Tourist Albania is not only about the sea and mountains. It is also about culture, tradition and hospitality,” Koçiu said.
