The Minister of Education and Sports, Evis Kushi, stated that “our objective is that next year the Unified Common Primer book will be in the hands of children in all Albanian-speaking territories”.

“The Unified Common Primer book is one of the prides of MAS and is it also a love affair with the Ministry of Education of Kosovo”, Kushi said at the press conference.

Kushi said that “we have a new text for first graders, which means that different schools do not have different texts, but everywhere we have a unified text that is adapted to the new conditions, has the new curriculum, has digital content”.

Minister Kushi announced that “with North Macedonia we have fallen because those who have included it as a supplementary text this year, but from next year they will have the text in all Albanian schools”.

Kushi also informed that “together with the Ministers of Education of Kosovo, we are working on that the primer is also valid in Montenegro, and in the Presheva Valley, and why not also in the diaspora, wherever there are Albanians, they learn the Albanian language in the same way”.
