Vlora’s last weekend evening was marked by the live tunes of Italian Sanremo Festival music. Citizens of Vlora but also many vacationers, local and foreign, had the opportunity to attend for many hours a concert of some of the most popular Italian singers of 1980s and 1990s.

Singers like Al Bano, Mieta, Marco Masini, Michelle Zarillo, Pupo, Matia Bazzar, Riccardo Fogli, Iva Zanicchi and others who have won the Sanremo Festival at least once performed live at concert, an extraordinary musical event for the city.

Alongside with performing, the Italian artists spoek on stage with superlatives for the city and the hospitality they were welcomed, saying that they would want to come back plenty of other times.

A large community of Italian citizens living in Albania also attended the concert in the square.

This concert organized by the Flamurtari FC president, Sinan Idrizi and was supported by the Italian Consulate and Vlora City Hall.
