The Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja met with the head of UNOPS in Albania, Sabine Kania, and with representatives of the EU4Culture Program. The Minister got to know closely with the work and projects for the preservation, revitalization and support of the cultural heritage in Albania.

“The importance of promoting culture and cultural heritage at the international level, for promoting the sustainable development of the cultural tourism economy, generates the need for cooperation, and to ensure operability, synergy and coordination to the necessary support for successful projects in this field,” Minister Gonxhja wrote on social networks, while sharing pictures from this meeting.

The EU4Culture Program for the restoration and protection of cultural heritage, funded by the EU, is implemented by UNOPS in close partnership with the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation.
