Montenegrin Cultural Week Brings Literature and History to the Heart of Tirana

Five talented artists shared the magic of Boka Bay and Montenegrin traditions through traditional and indigenous songs.
This unique performance brought a beautiful atmosphere, blending traditional music with subtle pop elements. Held on the capital’s pedestrian street, the event captivated everyone in attendance.
Earlier, as part of Cultural Weeks, another event took place at the National Center for Books and Reading, focusing on Montenegrin literature and authors.
Meanwhile, in the final two days of Montenegrin Cultural Week, a special exhibition will remain open in Tirana, exploring cartographic views of Boka Kotorska and its surrounding area, spanning from the late 4th century to the early 20th century.
The cartographic material from the Maritime Museum in Kotor includes digitized resources from archives and national libraries across Europe and the United States.
A total of 185 maps—geographic, nautical, topographic, military, historical, political, ethnographic, and more—will be displayed, illustrating the beauty of the Bay of Kotor.
