On the occasion of Mother Teresa’s Canonization Day, the National Library of Albania opened an exhibition in honor of this global and Albanian symbol of human solidarity.

This “homage” exhibition, dedicated to the “Nobel Peace Prize Laureate,” showcases the collections held by the National Library, which focus on the inspiring life and exemplary work of Mother Teresa.

From prayers and poems written by the saint herself to the poetry she inspired in Albanian poets, from impressive albums by artists to research monographs, interviews, biographies, and even bibliographies about her, this exhibition symbolically highlights the special relationship that Albania and Albanians—who were always in her prayers—have formed with their Holy Mother, filled with pride and devotion.

The exhibition will remain open to the public in the main hall of the National Library of Albania.
