The National Library celebrated the 115th birthday of Saint Mother Teresa today.

The event featured a philatelic and biographical exhibition from collector Hysen Dizdari, who also authored the book Mother Teresa on Albanian Stamps. The exhibition highlighted the saint’s legacy through cultural and historical memory.

Kosovan scholar Anton Nikë Berisha, author of over 150 works on Albanian literature and 27 on Mother Teresa, attended the event.Berisha donated a collection of his selected works to the National Library. He also gifted 10 books about Mother Teresa to Dizdari.

The event was moderated by Majlinda Toçi, Deputy Director of the National Library. The exhibition attracted interest from scholars, critics, and various groups.
