Yesterday evening, “Italia” Square was transformed into a fashion catwalk for the final of “Muza Competition”, where creators from all Albanian-speaking regions came together.

The 10 finalists presented their collection in the show that crowned Klara Kazan with the collection “Under the Veil” as the winner.

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who was present at this activity, expressed his satisfaction that , such competitions are held in the Albanian capital.

“After what happened in Ukraine with Russia, we all remember that we should not take friends, especially neighbors, for granted. We are very proud of our neighbors because we Albanians are surrounded by our own, from Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Presheva Valley, and so today I am very happy that, for this neighborhood, which is more than just a neighborhood, it is our blood, we have dedicated this edition.Therefore, I am really proud that today we have the best of the Albanian world”, Veliaj said. 

Among the guests, there were well-known personalities of Albanian showbiz and the world of the screen. “Muza Competition” is a project undertaken by the Union of Albanian Municipalities in the region, which includes the activation of passionate and professional young people in the revival of ethnographic elements in the field of fashion design.

In this edition, more than 1,000 young people from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia applied to be part of the grand finale of the “Muza Competition”.
