Albanian Minister of Tourism and Culture, Mirela Kumbaro was today at the Gjirokastër Bazaar, revived from the ruins thanks to the vision and investments made.
“The surprise of the return of the disappeared “Pipiria”, the traditional dress of Gjirokastër, which took Lizeta, one of the artisans of city, three years to complete, with all the details and fine nuances, according to an original specimen that could have been found only in a photograph and in a museum abroad, writes Kumbaro.
She appreciated the mini-museum that this store offers with traditional clothing, and especially the traditional dress “papiria” made by Lizeta, which can be considered a work of art.
