Origami Comes to Life at International Dance Festival of Tirana

“ImagOri” premiered at the International Dance Festival of Tirana at the Puppet Theatre.

The children’s program featured two back-to-back performances of “ImagOri” by Chriki’Z. After the shows, the choreographers led a workshop. The program was free and designed for children aged 4–15.

“ImagOri” offers a magical journey through choreography and music in a dreamlike world made entirely of origami.

In this paper world, folded creatures come to life. A curious traveler interacts with them playfully, watched over by the kingdom’s guardian.

The program runs with support from the European Union Delegation in Albania and the EU4Culture program, implemented by UNOPS in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sports.
