The activity was supported by Retro Albania and General Directory of Road Transport Services within the Italian Culture Week.

This week takes place within the framework of the “International Weeks of Culture”, an initiative of the Albanian Government with the motto “Albania welcomes the world”, where various countries of the world as well as countries of the European Union participate.

After the success of the first edition of the International Cultural Weeks, from June 1 to 7, 2023, Italian culture returns to Albania with more than 60 events and initiatives. Music, sports, cuisine, science, opera, architecture and design will be just some of the Italian values that will be the protagonists of a journey that will cross Albania from North to South.

In the program of the Italian Week, it is worth mentioning: the celebration of the Republic Day, the music group Planet Funk, the Science Festival, the day dedicated to Arbëresh, the return of Pizza Village, the marathon for autism as well as the mural work realized by Tellas as an expression of friendship between Italy and Albania. There will also be evenings dedicated to theater, opera and music with performances in squares dedicated to Verdi, a concert by the well-known trumpet player Paolo Fresu and a performance in memory of the genius Enio Morricone.
