“Planet Leshtor” – 33 Sharp Observations on Everyday Reality

Tirana is getting ready for the country’s biggest literary event, the 28th Tirana Book Fair 2025.

The fair opens on November 12, and one of its most notable releases is “Planet Leshtor” by Enird Malile, published by UET Press. Malile, together with Mimoza Ahmeti, Stefan Çapaliku, Gazment Krasniqi, and Armand Bora, competed as a finalist for the Kadare Prize 2025.

In his first book, Malile, a clinical psychologist, presents 33 short stories. He observes everyday events and social phenomena with precision and turns them into simple yet deep truths that readers often forget.

He builds each story as a fragment of human life. Every story starts with curiosity and atmosphere, while its end remains open and unpredictable – just like life.

Critics praise “Planet Leshtor” for its sharp reflections that make readers think long after reading.

The book does not offer answers; instead, it invites readers to reflect on existence and meaning. Malile encourages them to see life as a mosaic of fragments, where everyone can discover part of themselves.

With this approach, he turns the book into more than literature – a quiet guide that inspires deeper thought about people and society.
