TIRANA, November 24 – Prime Minister Edi Rama continued his visit to Doha and met the chief executive of Qatar Airways, Badr Mohammed Al-Meer. The two discussed the plan for a direct air link between Albania and Qatar. Rama focused on the entry of the airline into the Albanian market and underlined the importance of the project.

After the meeting, he shared moments from the visit and expressed hope for Qatar Airways flights to Tirana soon. He arrived in Doha a day earlier and held talks with Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

Rama travelled with Finance Minister Petrit Malaj and Minister of State for Local Government Ervin Demo.
