Preç Zogaj and Bashkim Shehu in prose, along with Shaban Murati in publicistic writing, have grabbed the national “At Zef Pllumi” award for the year 2024.

Following tradition, the 8th edition of this competition was organized by the Municipality of Lezha. Local authorities, as well as prominent figures in Albanian art and literature, attended the event, dedicated to honoring At Zef Pllumi.

“I feel deeply honored to receive an award bearing the name of such an eminent figure as At Zef Pllumi,” said Shaban Murati.

Scholar Behar Gjoka remarked, “Those who continue to uphold the legacy of At Zef Pllumi deserve our congratulations.”

The jury, comprised of distinguished figures in Albanian literature such as Behar Gjoka, Marash Mirashi, and Agim Xhafka, awarded career prizes to Frano Kulla, Thanas Medin, and Pashk Përvathi. Additionally, two honorary prizes were bestowed upon the writers Namik Dokle and Ahmet Premçi.
