Over 11,000 9th grade students from all over Albania meet today at the start of the National Albanian Language Competition.

Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama shared today on social networks an awareness-raising video of 9-year-old school pupils on the use of the standard Albanian language.

The first phase of the National Albanian language competition for 9th grades takes place today.

The year 2024 has been declared the Year of the Albanian Language.

As part of the activities organized on this occasion, the Assembly organized yesterday the activity “Albanian language and its identity”.

The activity underlined the necessity of improving language teaching at school as well as emphasizing the priority education of public administration, so that the language of official communication is the Standard Language.
