Prime Minister Edi Rama said compensating families affected by floods and natural disasters is a government priority. The process will continue after field verifications.

Meanwhile, in the podcast “Flasim”, Rama stressed that no one will be left without support. He cited the guiding principle: “You will never be alone”. This applies to earthquakes, floods, fires, and other emergencies.

As a result, the state supports affected families with dignity. Compensation covers both homes and livestock.

Additionally, Rama said work will continue after the weather improves. Authorities will repair infrastructure and provide payments to families.

“The verification teams have been on the ground since day one. The Ministry of Finance prepared compensation plans in advance. Once verifications are complete, we will move to the payment phase,” he said.

Finally, Rama recalled that the government settled previous flood debts and has avoided creating new ones. He emphasized that Albania no longer leaves its citizens alone during disasters.
