Prime Minister Edi Rama attended the inauguration of “Tirana Moons”. The green oasis, dedicated to books, opened in “Mother Teresa” Square in Tirana.

Architect Chris Precht presented his work as a library in progress. He invited citizens to bring books with personal notes to inspire others.

During his visit, Prime Minister Rama called the installation an “important moment for Chris” and joked that he “brought the moon to Albania.”

Rama said the space would integrate into future urban development projects, including an underground parking lot. He thanked all contributors, praising Albanian woodworkers for their craftsmanship.

He confirmed that “Tirana Moons” would remain in the square for a period of time. Rama explained that the square will eventually host a large underground parking project.

Rama encouraged architects to continue contributing and said Albania will advance with major projects.

He also thanked the architects for the books. “Please bring more books. It is wonderful to have books, especially ones donated by people who wish to share for the pleasure of others,” Rama said.

Finally, Rama thanked everyone who helped build this green oasis.
