With the motto “Albania welcomes the world”, the International Cultural Weeks start with the cultural activities of Greece.

Prime Minister Edi Rama says in a post on social networks that it is a pleasure to start the International Cultural Weeks with the Week of neighboring Greece, which is cradled in a great tradition.

Unlike last year, in which 18 countries participated, this year 20 different countries will be present. The Netherlands, Montenegro and Azerbaijan are coming for the first time to the second edition of this great cultural event.

Conceived as a mosaic of cultural activities, each week will be dedicated to a country, where the focus will be on the promotion of values and the exchange of experiences. Through this organization, the aim is to recognize and strengthen relations with international partners.

Over 700 artists will be part of the program, among them will be the well-known names of the international arena. This year’s second edition ends on November 30, 2023
