Prime Minister Edi Rama today shared images from preparations for the international “Korça Little Paris Half Marathon 2026.”

“Korça is running,” Rama wrote on social media as he shared footage from today’s race.

Meanwhile, participants received race packages that included a race shirt, bag, bib number and timing chip. The packages also included water, soft drinks, fruit and brioche.

The Municipality of Korça covered registration, the race bib, timing chip and medal for every participant who completed the race.

The race took place in the city for the first time. Organizers aim to turn it into an annual sporting tradition and bring the energy of hundreds of runners to the streets of Korça.

The event took place under the slogan “Korça The Heartland.”
