From October 10 to 14, the International Weeks of Culture will take place, with activities within the American Week.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared the American Week promotional spot on social networks today.

“Albania welcomes the world”. We enter the festive atmosphere of the Week of American Culture, of Hollywood films and music”, said Rama.

The guest of honor during American Week is Hollywood star Breaking Bad actor RJ Mitte. Known for his role as ‘Walt Jr.’ on the Emmy Award winning series ‘Breaking Bad’, RJ broke stereotypes and changed mindsets with his positivity.

The US Embassy invites Albanian artlovers to join the final event with live musical performances of movie soundtracks.

“Join us for the final event of America Week with the Albanian-American Development Foundation for a special Soundtrack Evening with artistic live musical performances of famous Hollywood movie soundtracks! Get ready to experience the magic of Hollywood sound like never before!” reads the announcemet of US Embassy on facebook.

Also, the US Embassy together with the “Crush” organization will organize a special basketball tournament on October 14.

Conceived as a mosaic of cultural activities, in the International Weeks of Culture, each week will be dedicated to a country, where the focus will be the promotion of values and the exchange of experiences.

Through this organization, the aim is to recognize and strengthen relations with international partners. Over 700 artists will be part of the program, among them will be well-known names of the international arena.

This year’s second edition ends on November 30, 2023.
