The first Sunday of September brought a record number of tourists to Rozafa Castle, many experiencing Shkodër for the first time. Visitors praised the hospitality of the locals and admired the breathtaking beauty of the site, while being captivated by the mysterious history of Rozafa.

“I’m visiting from Italy, and this is my first time in Albania. I’ve been in Shkodër for a few days and decided to explore the castle and learn about its history. The city center and the lake are truly impressive, and the people are very welcoming,” one tourist commented.

A visitor from England shared: “This is my first visit to Albania. We’re climbing to see the inside of Rozafa Castle, and I believe we’ll definitely return to Shkodër.”

A Serbian tourist from Novi Sad also remarked: “It’s my first time visiting Shkodër. The history of the city and the castle is fascinating, and we’ve just learned about it.”

Kosovar Albanians were also among the visitors, reflecting the widespread attraction of the site.

Rozafa Castle continues to draw increasing numbers of visitors of all ages, blending history, architecture, and stunning landscapes. The ever-growing interest highlights not only the site’s beauty but also the enduring allure of Rozafa’s mysterious legend.
