“Retro Albania” Honors Historic Cars and Collectors in Tirana

“Retro Albania” brought historic vehicles to Tirana this past weekend. The event celebrated passionate collectors and creators. It turned the city into an open-air museum of Albanian technical and cultural heritage.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared photos from the event at the “RON” Museum. He highlighted how Tirana became a space to honor the passion for cars and national technical heritage.
Through the FIVA Heritage Hall of Fame, Albania gained international attention as a country that values history, memory, and craftsmanship.
The project included the international “Heritage Hall of Fame 2025” award ceremony. FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) organized it in collaboration with DPSHTRR and the “RON” Museum.
For the first time in Albania, the award went to collector Medi Halilaj. It recognized his contribution to preserving historic vehicles and promoting automotive culture.
