Albanian Radio Television (RTSH) will soon have a channel on Spotify, the digital audio broadcasting platform. Director of Programs at Radio Tirana, Bojken Lako, in the show “Good Morning Albania” shared details of this novelty, through which the original productions of Radio Tirana and Albanian Radio Television will reach anywhere in the world.

Lako announced that this channel will not only feature new products, but also those from the past years.

“Everything today is communication and the audio productions of Radio Tirana of the Albanian Radio Television must be represented and accessible to the public on digital platforms. Since Spotify is one of the largest audio platforms for music, audio materials, podcasts, programs and authentic productions, everything authentic produced by Radio Tirana and Albanian Radio Television related to music, for example songs, live performances of festivals among years, archives of different programs, different radio programs, normal will be there for Albanians all over the world. This is the idea of ​​Spotify and we have a working group that is working every day and very soon we will also inaugurate products on Spotify where people can have access,” said Lako.

Asked how the idea for an RTSH channel on this platform came about, the Director of Programs at Radio Tirana said that it is an idea conditioned by the time and the language of communication.

“For some time, the platform of the Director of Albanian Radio and Television, ‘RTSH great again in the digital age’ presupposes the respect of all professional work chain rings. Like any channel in the world like the big radio TV channels with a history, they definitely need to have such a representation in the digital age and this is an idea conditioned by the time and the language of communication. We are working on the basis of a platform that is a little more distant vision in all respects, even to the promotion of young singers. Everything has to do with observing the tings of a chain to professionally complement what can feed a radio and television public,” he said.

Referring to this channel, Lako explained that people will be able to search and listen to any material produced by RTSH over the years. He informed that posting for the first podcasts starts by the middle of this week.

“It works with playlists and people can search for anything they want to hear if they’re curious about RTSH’s past and current audio productions. We are packing the material. It is a continuous work that we will start during this week. I believe in the middle of the week we will start to post the first materials and this I believe with the productions of Radio Tirana and Albanian Radio Television will be a continuous work that will keep the public curious about the new things that are uploaded there. Currently, we have currently uploaded about 250-300 live performances of young singer. A few months ago we started two radio and television programs, one called “talent” and the other “Session 31”. Both are about the opportunities it creates for young and old singers to play and perform live with a band in the studios of Radio Tirana, to learn and enter the real professional path. These programs give them a motivation to continue this path,” explained Lako.
