Sculpture Exhibition Opens in Lezha with Works from National Gallery Fund

The Art Gallery in Lezha opened a sculpture exhibition inside the “Ded Ndue Lazri” Palace of Culture. Staff placed twelve works by Albanian artists on view.

The gallery drew the pieces from its own collection. Visitors therefore see a concentrated survey of Albanian three-dimensional art.

The show moves from classical realism to modern forms. Each piece marks a different technique. Together they build a clear aesthetic path for viewers.

Gallery manager Ymer Metaliaj said the exhibition forms part of a summer tourism program. He reported strong interest. Many visitors focus on the older works.

The exhibition stays open through the end of July. Admission is free. So the public can study the sculptures up close and follow how Albanian sculpture has developed over time.
