From today until September 13, the city of Korça will host the KO:SH Film Fest 2025, a festival dedicated to short films.

This year’s theme is “Displacement,” focusing on the impact of war, lack of democracy, economic struggles, and systemic corruption. These issues affect millions worldwide.

KO:SH Film Fest is one of the most important cinema events in the region. Over five days, 81 films from 40 countries will be screened, turning Korça into a vibrant center of international art and culture.

Events will take place at Kinema Majestic, the Korça Digital Arts Gallery, Korça Library, and the Korça Youth Center.

Bulgaria is the guest country this year, with a special program curated by the “In The Palace Short Film Festival.” Tonight, six Bulgarian short films will be shown.

The festival also offers a children’s program with film screenings, workshops, and masterclasses for different age groups. Additionally, KO:SH Film Fest 2025 will host discussions on sensitive topics, making this edition an inclusive space for all.
