TIRANA, April 8 – Albania’s Parliament Speaker, Niko Peleshi, met today with Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Albania, Anar Huseynov, and Murad Heydarov, Executive Director for the Balkans at the State Oil Company.

They discussed advancing bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and trade areas. They also explored ways to strengthen parliamentary collaboration between the two countries.

Both sides praised the strong relations between Albania and Azerbaijan. They emphasized the importance of deepening ties in strategic sectors, especially energy.

Officials focused on the gasification project in Korça. They described it as a key step toward sustainable energy development and boosting regional economic growth.
