Spiropali condemns mass attacks in Ukraine: “I will be in Kyiv to reaffirm our unwavering support”

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Elisa Spiropali reacted on the social platform X after Russia carried out a new massive attack on Ukraine, using drones and ballistic missiles.

According to Spiropali, the world witnessed another act of brutality by the Kremlin regime. “Last night, around 300 attack drones, 18 ballistic missiles, and seven cruise missiles targeted civilians and critical energy infrastructure during extremely cold winter conditions,” she said.

As a result, Spiropali stated that Albania openly and strongly condemns these attacks.

Furthermore, she expressed solidarity with the victims and their families. “We stand with all those left without heating, electricity, or security,” she wrote.

At the same time, the minister expressed support for her Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha. She also announced that she will visit Kyiv this week to reaffirm Albania’s unwavering support for the Ukrainian people.

“This week I will be in Kyiv by your side to reaffirm Albania’s unwavering support and our commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and right to live in peace,” Spiropali said.

Finally, the minister stressed that these crimes require a firm and united international response.
“There must be no pause, no fatigue, and no complacency until this aggression ends,” concluded Foreign Minister Elisa Spiropali.
