Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Elisa Spiropali met today with North Macedonia’s President, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova. The meeting took place during Spiropali’s official visit to the country.

Spiropali said they discussed the two countries’ shared path toward Western values. They reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the European agenda.

“For Albania, EU integration is more than a national priority,” Spiropali said. “It is a shared regional aspiration. A fully integrated Western Balkans makes the European Union stronger, more united, and better prepared to face today’s challenges.”

Spiropali is on a two-day visit to North Macedonia. Earlier today, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski received her in a meeting.

She also met with North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister, Timčo Mucunski, and with Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi.
