Teodor Keko is commemorated, a poetic evening dedicated to the writer

Under the sounds of the piano, the memories of friends, and his poems, the well-known poet, storyteller and journalist Teodor Keko was commemorated. The commemorative evening was held at the Kadare Studio House and with the participation of the writer’s wife Xhuli Keko. The beautiful verses of Teodor Keko have been interpreted by friends and some young people.
“Dori was a man who liked life, liked beauty, and liked friendships. I don’t pretend that all the poems are dedicated to me because that would be a big lie. Theere is a background about Xhuli’s poem. One day Dori was very late at home and I was very upset and in the morning Dori came out early when I woke up I found this poem,” said the writer’s wife Xhuli Keko.
Teodor Keko is noted for his non-conformism, skill and simplicity in narrative in short prose. He started his publications in 1980 and is the author of 15 volumes in different genres such as poetry, drama, novel and short stories. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 44.
