The Faculty of Philology at the University of Tetovo held the 19th International Seminar on Albanology under the theme “Cultural Dialogue between Albanian and World Literature.” The Academy of Sciences of Albania was represented by academic Marenglen Verli.
Alongside the seminar, the National Fair of Academic and Scientific Books showcased the latest scholarly and university publications.
Verli presented his study “The Treatment in Austro-Hungarian Diplomatic Documentation of Key Moments in Our National History (1878-1891, 1912-1914).”
From the institutes of the Academy, Dr. Eduart Cakra (Institute of History) presented on “The Historical Factor in Albanian Literature of the National Awakening: The Case of Thimi Mitko.”
Dr. Rovena Vata Mikeli (Institute of Linguistics and Literature) spoke on “The Female Figure in Dritëro Agolli’s Poetry.”
The seminar continued with scientific sessions, round tables, and presentations, fostering dialogue and cooperation among Albanian and international scholars.
