The call for the Albanian Pavilion project at the Venice Architecture Biennale is opened

The Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, announces that within the framework of the International Architecture Biennale in Venice, MEKI (Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation) has launched the call for submissions for the Albanian Pavilion project. The Biennale will be open to the public from May 10th to November 23rd, 2025, under the theme “Intelligence.Natural.Artificial.Collective.”
“MEKI invites project proposals inspired by a careful observation of contemporary architecture and Albanian society, particularly where it makes a difference, as well as the visual means through which these ideas will be communicated to the broader public and professionals,” Gonxhja wrote on social media.
“The 19th International Architecture Exhibition will feature, as usual, National Participations with their exhibitions in the pavilions at the Giardini, Arsenale, and in Venice’s historical center. MEKI encourages all applicants to collaborate with local and/or international curators who have experience in organizing and participating in similar events and to submit their projects.”
The 19th International Architecture Exhibition will include National Participations with their exhibitions in the Giardini, Arsenale pavilions, and in Venice’s historical center. The submission deadline for projects is October 8th, 2024.
