Marsela Çibukaj, together with a group of 11 other musicians, gave a concert yesterday evening at the Cultural Center of the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana.

The concert with songs from the repertoire of the Italian singer-songwriter and poet Fabrizio De Andre concluded the Italian Cultural Week.

On the stage decorated with poppies according to the title of one of De Andre’s albums, the writer and screenwriter Ylljet Aliçka went up to share with the public pieces of memories from his meetings with the singer, composer, poet and activist from the most appreciated in Italy.

The Italian Cultural Week in this second edition of the International Cultural Weeks had a busy artistic program. Beyond the concerts, exhibitions, theater, cuisine and the open doors of the Italian residence, one of the days was dedicated to Arbëresh culture.
