The exhibition ‘Odyssey of Indian Architecture’ will be opened as part of the India Mini Festival on October 2–3

For the first time, the “India Mini Festival” is being organized in Albania, showcasing two aspects of Indian culture: its rich cuisine and the ancient, tradition-filled architecture of the country.
The activities scheduled for October 2 and 3 are expected to serve as a starting point for numerous exchanges and investments between the two countries. The Indian Cultural Week is planned to take place in Albania next year.
On October 3, the Polytechnic University of Tirana will host the exhibition “Odyssey of Indian Architecture.”
Curated by the CP Kukreja Foundation for Design Excellence in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, this exhibition will provide a comprehensive view of Indian architecture and its evolution over the past five decades.
Supported by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation of Albania and the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Polytechnic University of Tirana, the exhibition will also address global challenges such as climate change and sustainable urbanization. Furthermore, it will showcase current and future projects aimed at creating a resilient, innovative, and sustainable “New India.”
Prominent figures expected to attend this event include Prime Minister Edi Rama; the Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja; the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Albania, as well as a world-renowned architect and urbanist, Dikshu C. Kukreja, along with many other distinguished personalities in the field.
The exhibition aims to foster various exchanges between students from Albania and India.
