The Tirana Opera and Ballet Theater published the artistic calendar for the month of May, where through the pentagram notes the history of the Albanian nation will be celebrated with the opera “George Kastrioti Skanderbeg, Lord of Arbër”.

The solemn opera “George Kastrioti Skanderbeg, Lord of Arbër” is composed by Vasil Tole, according to a libretto based on the work of Fan Noli.

The opera will be performed for art lovers in Tirana on May 9, and afterwards the artists will travel to Prishtina, where the performance is scheduled for May 17.

“Sounds of the First World War” is a concert with chamber music, where the soloist will be the director of Theater of Opera and Ballet, Abigeila Voshtina, this time in the role of violinist and accompanied on the piano by Herta Cane.

In these spring days, the Tirana Opera and Ballet Theater will also bring the Spanish joy of Miguel De Servantes, through the premiere ballet “Don Quixote”, brought neatly by prominent international names.

It is also worth mentioning the fact that the Opera and Ballet  Theater has recently been thinking about children too, staging operas suitable for them. This time, children and their parents will be able to see Mozart’s “Magic Flute”, wrapped in a fabulous fabric accompanied by magical melodies for children and families.
