The operetta “Carnivals” returns after 45 years

The beautiful atmosphere of the Korça Carnival returns after 45 years at the Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Under the direction of the soprano Inva Mula, the operetta “Carnivals” will be performed on the 25th, 26th and 27th of February, taking us back once again to the time of Korça, full of charm and beauty.
Prime Minister Edi Rama published footage from the operetta on social networks today. “This work, regarded as one of the most precious of the national repertoire, returns precisely on the 95th anniversary of the birth of Inva’s father, the composer Avni Mula, who wrote “Carnivals” based on the comedy with the same title by Spiro Çomore and the libretto by Luigj Gurakuqit”.
The operetta “Carnivals” is a new production by the soloists, the choir and the TKOB Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Armed Forces Symphony Orchestra. It brings to Albanian and foreign art lovers the liveliness of the Carnival, the beautiful line of love, the “krushki bazaars” and the likeness of bourgeois Korça families.
