“The Mother” is the next play that is being staged at the Experimental Theater in Tirana this week.

Directed by Mehmet Xhelili and a wonderful cast of actors, “The Mother” is a black farce which offers an extraordinary sharpness and confronts the public not only with a tale, but also with an experience created through it.

At the center of the play is the drama of the mother, with her illness, crisis, and pain, but also of other characters who cause it or are its victims themselves.

The play deals with powerful messages that raise the existential question cried out by the mother at the end of the piece: “Why did it have to happen like this?”

The play “The Mother”, which is being premiered this week at the Experimental Theater, will also be shown to the public during the weekend.
