The Rrajce Dance won the Peace Folklore Festival Cup in Italy

In Agropoli, Italy, the 11th edition of the Folklore and Peace Festival was held, with the Municipality of Prrenjas Ensemble winning the top prize.
Ardit Facja, a representative of the Albanian artist group, expressed to the Italian media that they were honored to represent Albania at this event. He noted that, as a new group, their participation was also about enjoyment and celebration.
The famous Rrajce dance captured the attention of the audience and media from neighboring countries. While the Prrenjas Ensemble performed several dances, it was the Rrajce dance that received the highest praise from the jury.
Festival organizers highlighted that the event’s message to young people is that progress cannot continue without culture and traditions, which are our roots.
Now a tradition, the festival continues to advance thanks to the values it promotes, such as peace and intercultural relations in the region.
