The stage sets of three operas by Puccini arrive at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet

With the support of the Puccini Festival Foundation, the stage sets for the three pieces of “Il Trittico” have been brought to Tirana from Italy, specifically for the upcoming production to be staged by the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
Abigeila Voshtina, the director of the Opera House, has shared 3D sketch images of the stage sets on social media platforms. These sets will undergo nightly transformations, transforming “Il Trittico” into not merely a performance but an immersive experience.
“Il Tabarro” marks the commencement of Puccini’s Triptych on NTOB’s stage. It unfolds as a tragic love story set amidst the romantic backdrop of Paris. Subsequently, the stage will metamorphose to depict a 17th-century monastery, where Suor Angelica endures her penance, compelled to become a nun and forever separated from her child. Finally, Gianni Schichi will take center stage, the captivating figure from Florence whose disruptive will alters the destinies of his family.
“Il Trittico” will grace the stage of NTOB under the guidance of Maestro Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli and assistant conductor Nicolo Jacopo Suppa.
