At the Ministry of Education and Sports, the initiative launched by NATO ACT, titled “The NATO Student Challenge – Western Balkans,” has been submitted by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

The aim of this initiative is to encourage students to become acquainted with NATO’s role and the strategic challenges in the region.

This competition invites students from across the Western Balkans to respond to the question: “In your opinion, what are the most significant security challenges in the Western Balkans, and how should NATO, its allies, and partners address them?”

Qualified students are required to submit their responses in the form of a three-minute video through the “Award Force” platform by October 6, 2024.

The top three candidates will be invited to Sarajevo from October 22-24. In addition, the winners will have the opportunity to present their ideas to senior NATO officials.
