The Tirana International Film Festival (TIFF) will close its 24th edition today with an awards ceremony at 20:00 at Millennium Cinema.

The closing ceremony will recognize the most acclaimed films and filmmakers of this year’s festival. Over the past several days, TIFF has brought together cinema, creativity and meetings with local and international filmmakers.

Meanwhile, festival organizers have invited the public to attend the final ceremony, which marks the conclusion of TIFF’s 24th edition.

One of TIFF’s key features is its status as an Academy Awards® (Oscar) qualifying festival. “Tirana International Film Festival – Best Short Film” appears on the Academy’s official list of qualifying festivals. As a result, winning short films can become eligible for Oscar consideration if they also meet the Academy’s other requirements.

With today’s ceremony, TIFF will conclude its 24th edition and celebrate the festival’s most outstanding works. At the same time, the event will continue TIFF’s long-standing tradition as one of Albania’s leading film festivals.
