The Tirana European Youth Film Festival (TEYFF) has opened its second edition, aiming to provide a new window into European cinema in Tirana. This year, the festival brings European cinematic art back to Tirana, with a dedicated platform highlighting debut directors and their remarkable works.

The current edition features a diverse selection of nine films in competition. Awards will be given for Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Film, Best Screenplay, and the Audience Award.

TEYFF is also committed to nurturing future cinematic talents through a series of masterclasses, discussions, and forums led by industry professionals.

The festival runs from September 5 to September 10 across three venues: Agimi Art Center, Cinema Maks Velo, and the Tirana Pyramid, which will serve as an open-air cinema. This year’s festival slogan, “Every Filmmaker Remembers Their First Time in Tirana,” underscores our commitment not only to promoting emerging directors but also to positioning Tirana as a potential location for future film projects.
