Tirana to Host Largest Ethno-Cultural Center in the Balkans This December

In celebration of the year-end holidays, the largest ethno-cultural center in the Balkans will open its doors in Tirana this December.

The Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, invited the public through a social media post to experience Albanian culture through interactive experiences and cultural performances inspired by ancient traditions.

“Discover Albanian rites and customs through music, songs, dances, and traditional culinary experiences. Explore Albania’s rich cultural heritage through the hands of over 500 Albanian artisans who create unique works using entirely traditional methods,” Minister Gonxhja wrote, emphasizing that the “Albanian Night” Cultural Center is supported by the Albanian Government through the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Start-Up Albania, as well as the EU Delegation through the EU4Innovation project, implemented by GIZ.

“Albanian Night” will provide a space for Albanian artists and artisans that will bring together the cultural heritage of all Albanian regions in one venue, located in the heart of Tirana, covering an area of over 2,500 square meters.
