Part of Albania’s traditional costume heritage is now documented in the archive of the National Tourism Agency.

This comes through the photography and video contest “Wanderlust in Albania 2.”

Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, shared several images today.

She highlighted traditional costumes as a valuable treasure of Albanian ethnography and regional spirit.

“These designs are forever carved into our majestic costume heritage,” Kumbaro said.

Some of these are now preserved in the agency’s archive thanks to the contest.

The international competition returned for a second year after the success of its first edition.

It showcases Albania’s beauty through the eyes of travelers and visitors.

Participants submitted photographs and short video reels from their journeys across the country.

Photographers and videographers—both professional and amateur—joined from Albania and 36 other countries.

They presented stunning images and footage.

These visuals highlight Albania’s natural wonders, cultural traditions, and historical legacy.
