“Travelers of Nonsense,” the largest exhibition opened in Shkodër by the painter Helidon Haliti.

An intriguing and distinctive exhibition is currently on display at the Shkodër Art Gallery from April 4th to 27th, featuring the renowned artist Helidon Haliti.
Beginning with the invitation “IN THE NAME OF THE PEOPLE,” you are cordially invited, and as the Curator “THE PEOPLE,” Helidon surprises, challenges, and tests the audience. He embodies the essence of an artist, an unwavering seeker, an extravagant rebel, drawing viewers in with meticulous attention to his subjects and characters. Through this, he creates rare artistic values that immerse you in a universe of astonishment.
The exhibition showcases four cycles presented in separate halls:
-‘Travelers of Nonsense’
-Facsimile
-Chatterboxes
-Albania in watercolor
‘Travelers of Nonsense’ promises to astonish with its compositions and thought-provoking themes, offering audiences interpretative opportunities. Set in shades of pink and red, the characters are depicted in a peculiar manner within their world, exuding a somewhat stoic demeanor inherent to each character’s nature. They embark on a journey whose conclusion remains uncertain; at times imbued with notes of irony or humor, the artist playfully ridicules and provokes, fostering open dialogue and artistic discourse. It’s a journey where two distinct times intertwine, delving into creativity, philosophy, and character exploration, each with its own symbolism, where the artist becomes an integral part of the narrative.
Exhibiting uniqueness in composition and subject matter, experimenting with every form, color, figure, and character, this journey continues unabated.
