TIRANA, April 2 – The US embassy in Tirana issued a warning about potential threats from Iran-linked groups targeting US-related entities or Iranian opposition members in Albania.

The Albanian government’s Agency for Media and Information, which monitors and coordinates official communications, said Albanian law enforcement “has no concerning information regarding this embassy speculation.”

The agency added that the embassy issues such alerts regularly, even when opposition groups stage protests that involve burning trash bins or throwing molotovs (coctails) for media attention. Authorities found nothing alarming linked to these claims.

It encourages American citizens to continue enjoying Albania’s attractions, highlighting the country’s tourist sites, unmatched hospitality, and notable cuisine.
