“Wales Online”: Albania emerges as a top summer destination from Tirana to Ksamil

TIRANA, July 28 – British media outlet “Wales Online” has named Albania among Europe’s top summer destinations for travelers seeking affordable holidays.
Journalist Amy Jones highlighted Albania’s natural beauty and competitive prices in an article published by the outlet. She described Ksamil as a European alternative to the Maldives, thanks to its clear waters and white sandy beaches.

The article identified Ksamil as one of the most affordable European destinations for summer bookings. Many visitors also refer to it as the “Maldives of Europe”.

Meanwhile, “Wales Online” highlighted Tirana as Europe’s cheapest city for hotel stays. The outlet cited a study by “Hoppa”, which found that a 3-star hotel stay in the Albanian capital costs an average of 41.72 pounds per night.

The article also noted affordable food prices and flights from the United Kingdom. It said visitors can explore Tirana on foot and enjoy its architecture, urban art, parks, museums and lively café culture.

In addition, the British outlet highlighted the Albanian Riviera. It praised destinations such as Ksamil, Dhërmi and Jala for their beaches and turquoise waters.

The article described Albania’s Adriatic and Ionian coast as one of Europe’s most attractive seaside areas. It also mentioned the northern coastline as a quieter option with hidden beaches.

According to “Wales Online”, Albania combines affordability, natural landscapes and diverse experiences, making it a destination that deserves international attention this summer.
