The “Week of Spanish Culture,” also known as the “Week of Spanish Film,” features a curated selection of films by renowned Spanish directors. Kicking off with “Even the Rain” on November 2 at the “Agimi” Art Center, the film explores Spanish imperialism through the lens of a Mexican film crew in Bolivia shooting a historical drama about Christopher Columbus.

Following that, “Thesis on a Homicide” will be screened at the “Maks Velo” cinema on November 3, with “15 Years + 1 Day” on November 4 and “Lucky Star” on November 5. Spanish cinema is celebrated for its rich cultural narratives and social themes, often blending realism with imaginative storytelling. Admission is free for all cinema enthusiasts.
