112th Independence Anniversary Parade Unites Albanians from Around the World

More than 10,000 Albanians from across the globe came together for a vibrant red-and-black parade to celebrate the 112th Anniversary of Independence.
Highlighting Albania’s “roots,” history, and culture, the event featured 350 artistic groups from 150 cities with Albanian communities, including New York, Brussels, Çamëria, Kosova, the Arbëresh of Italy, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and across Albania.
Waving flags, singing traditional songs, dancing, and wearing regional attire, participants marched along the Martyrs of the Nation Boulevard, culminating at Skanderbeg Square.
For the second year in a row, Tirana served as the heart of Flag Day and Independence Day celebrations on November 28.
