TIRANA, March 12 – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha joined a discussion panel titled “Strengthening the European Union through Enlargement” during the Ambassadors’ Conference in Brussels.

Hoxha spoke alongside European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos and Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi.
The minister said the enlargement process remained one of the European Union’s most effective instruments for strengthening peace, stability, and prosperity in Europe. He welcomed the return of enlargement to the center of the European agenda.

Hoxha also stated that the process must continue to follow the principle of merit and require the implementation of reforms.

According to the minister, Albania has prepared for this stage through institutional reforms and alignment with the European Union’s Common Foreign and Security Policy. He added that Albanian society continues to support the European project.
